Mycelium (2020) is an experimental stop-motion animation that follows two common themes in the artist’s work: the interdependency of destruction/death and production/life, and the permeation between the human-world and the natural-world. The video shows a room being invaded and destroyed by mycelium, the expansive root system that provides life to most plants, particularly mushrooms.
